I idolize my dog.

He's spoiled, lazy and gets away with anything.

I idolize the dead, because they have nothing to worry about.

I play tenor also, but if its down to tenor players, then yes I'd pick Coltrane. I'm also a fan of Cannonball Adderly, but I gotta stick with the original, Charlie Parker.

Im a ballplayer so Id have to go with Mickey Mantle. Not for his off field "talents" but for his love of the game and for his on field ability. No better switch hitter to ever play the game.

If i had to say i look up to someone (i idolize no living being) it would be serge from system of a down. He is prophetical in his writing. Not to mention he is out there living the dream. Well serge and Anne rice for her morbidly entertaining writing style. I collect rare first editions hardbacks from her. Mostly signed.

I just picked up some of Charliie Parker's work... I like Coltrane and Elliot's playing style a bit better... but man, Charlie Parker certainly is on a par with them on skill...

I kind of idolize Dan Donnigan (guitarist in Disturbed) and Dave Draiman (vocalist in Disturbed).
